Coco the Tangerine Queen

Not only do “April showers spring May flowers”, they also spring Coco, our Apricot Queen, out from her signature winter monochrome staples and into this Orange Unique piece by Bottega Veneta. Coco found some inspiration with spring in full swing, not only from the more tolerable temperature, but from new statement pieces from London Fashion Week as well. It’s definitely time for the snow to melt away and for all you dahlias and calla lilies to start blooming!

COCO15-59We’ve all been gushing over the candy coat trend, the colours of now, from labels such as Mulberry, Fausto Puglisi, and Carolina Herrera. With that said, bright fuchsia pink is a top favourite among stylists and fashionistas alike. Style.com even refers the pink coat trend, “A coat to wear to Fashion Week and beyond.” Coco takes the pop of colour trend into effect with her own twist. With Coco being our tangerine queen, we know this oversized but beautifully feminine piece by the ever elegant Bottega Veneta can do no wrong.

Coco wears classic black and white to keep this delicious citrus number the main focus and sharpen its flavour. Tapered leather trousers from The Row emulate an Olsen-twin boho style perfect for the new season. The statement footwear, the lace-up, almond toed black booties, also by Bottega Veneta and this oversized pebbled leather clutch by Alexander Wang, maintain sympathetic proportions and are the final ingredients for our tasty lady marmalade!

  • Just discovered your blog via Instagram. So glad I did.!:-) I love a bright coloured coat teamed with black and white. “Neutral” colours taking advantage of tangerine and vice versa. This nude make up is the perfect finishing touch. Beautiful association!
